¡Muchas gracias!

THE JOYS THAT FRIENDS OF THE FOUNDATION GIVE US.

Among the first visitors to the Foundation and the Carmen de Aben Humeya, the
photographer Mr. José Antonio Rodríguez is found, who took the opportunity to make a
magnificent and extensive visual report that, in a totally disinterested way, he sent us last
week.
These are the satisfactions that come from seeking to make the collections, and the space
itself, a place for the development of art and culture.
It was a surprise, which will be joined by others in various formats. We already had the
opportunity to enjoy a concert, of which our Youtube channel will play some fragments soon,
and today, this beautiful visual contribution of our good friend José Antonio.
The report is so extensive, and of such high quality, that we will publish it in several
installments. Today we begin with a series of views of the exterior, starting in the slope of
Las Cabras, from the interior of the Carmen and, above all, the Tower of Guinea Street, a
true watchtower over the landscape of Granada. It emphasizes a look at the Alcazaba, from
the mihrab that built D. Alfonso de Borbón, prince of Condé, in 1968.

The second part of this first installment of José Antonio Rodríguez's report is an artistic
selection of fragments of the interior of the Moorish house and some of the pieces on
display. With details that highlight the quality of the works and the beauty they contain.

These ten breathtaking photographs, by José Antonio Rodríguez, which we show today in
our blog, serve to thank our artist friend and as a notice for future installments of the
magnificent report that he has altruistically offered us for public enjoyment.
Thank you very much!
